What we collect when you ask for an estimate, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Flashpoint Pressure Washing (“we”, “us”) is a residential exterior cleaning business based in Erwinville, LA. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if anything here is unclear, call us at (225) 288-5442 and ask.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a form on this site or contact us directly, we collect what you choose to send:
- Your name — so we know who to ask for.
- Your phone number — required, because a quote conversation is faster by phone or text than by email.
- Your email address — optional, only if you prefer to be contacted that way.
- Your property address and city — optional. We use it to work out drive time and to size up the job.
- What needs cleaning, and anything else you tell us in the message field.
- Photos you send us by text or email, so we can quote without a site visit.
Information collected automatically
This website uses Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages are read, and a live chat widget that sets a cookie so a conversation you start follows you between pages. It does not use advertising pixels or retargeting cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability, as essentially all web hosts do. Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- Prepare and send you an estimate.
- Contact you about scheduling, and about work in progress.
- Keep a record of work performed at your property.
- Follow up afterwards — for example, to ask how the job went or whether you would leave a review.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to run the business, and only with providers who handle it on our behalf:
- Our customer management system, which stores contact details and job history, and sends appointment or follow-up messages.
- Our website host, which serves this site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Where the law requires it — for example, in response to a valid legal request.
Needs confirmation before launch
Name the actual providers before publishing. Once the forms are connected to GoHighLevel, this section should say so by name, and link to that provider’s own privacy policy. The same applies to the website host. Vague references to “service providers” are weaker than naming them.
Text messages
If you text us, or give us your number and ask to be contacted by text, we will reply by text. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Needs confirmation before launch
If automated or bulk texting is ever set up (appointment reminders, review requests, promotions), this section needs expanding to meet TCPA requirements — including express written consent before marketing texts, and a documented opt-out process. One-to-one replies to a customer who contacted you first are treated differently from campaign messaging.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and job records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Estimate requests that do not become jobs are kept so we can recognise you if you come back to us later.
Needs confirmation before launch
Confirm an actual retention period with David (for example: job records kept seven years for tax purposes; unconverted estimate requests deleted after two years). A specific period is more defensible than “as long as needed”.
Photographs of your property
We photograph our work before and after cleaning. These photos are used to document the job, and may be used in our marketing — on this website, on social media, or in advertising.
We do not publish your name, your address, or anything else identifying you alongside a photo without your permission. If you would rather we did not use photos of your property at all, just tell us — before, during, or after the job — and we will not.
Your choices
- See what we hold about you. Ask, and we will tell you.
- Correct it. If something is wrong, we will fix it.
- Have it deleted. We will delete what we are not required to keep for tax or legal reasons.
- Stop hearing from us. Reply STOP to a text, or just tell us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. If you believe you do, contact us and we will work through it with you.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not collect payment card details through this website, which removes the most sensitive category of data from the picture entirely.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information — for example, when we add analytics or advertising tools — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
