What this site stores on your device, and what we do with it.

The short version
This website uses Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages get read, and a live chat widget that sets a cookie so your conversation follows you between pages. It sets no advertising cookies and no retargeting cookies. We do not run a Meta (Facebook) pixel, we do not sell your data, and we do not share your browsing behaviour with advertising networks.
Our web fonts are served from our own domain rather than from Google, so loading this site does not tell Google you visited it.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Some are necessary for a site to work at all; others exist to count visitors or to follow people between sites for advertising. The distinction matters far more than the word.
What this site uses today

Server logs
Separately from cookies, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — as essentially every web host does. These are used for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.
Tools we expect to add
This section is published in advance so it is accurate the day these tools go live rather than months later. None of the following is active yet. When one is turned on, we will remove the “not yet active” note and update the date at the top of this page.

Needs confirmation before launch
Update this page the same day any of these is switched on. A cookie policy that says “we don’t track you” while a pixel is firing is worse than having no policy. Advertising cookies in particular may require a consent banner depending on where visitors are — that decision should be made before a pixel is installed, not after.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you choose, no analytics cookies are set— we use Google Consent Mode, which holds measurement off by default rather than switching it on and asking afterwards.
Choosing Decline is a real option, not a dark pattern: Google Analytics then receives no cookies from your visit. We still see an anonymous, aggregate count of page views, which cannot be tied to you or to a returning visit.
To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Controlling cookies
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — lets you do this, and offers a private browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. Nothing on this site depends on cookies to work, so blocking them will not break anything.
